As an employee-owned company founded by a firefighter/paramedic, our team believes that we have a unique perspective on understanding the technological needs of the Fire and EMS industry and it empowers us to better serve our customers. Our intuitively-designed user interfaces and powerful analytical tools will streamline data collection, enhance communication, increase billable revenue, and ultimately empower first responders to focus on saving lives.
Anne Jensen | Health Informatics Analyst
Anne is a 25-year paramedic with a B.S. in Applied Physics. She is passionate about the role of technology can play in expanding EMS’s capacity to serve. She led the formal development of one of the earliest Community Paramedic programs in the country and contributed to the statewide effort to formalize Community Paramedicine legislation in California. Her work has been recognized with multiple honors, including two State of California EMS Authority awards. Now serving as a Health Informatics Analyst, Anne focuses on delivering rapid system level and patient level insights to help EMS providers better serve their communities.
Ernesto Esliter | Senior Programmer / Analyst
Ernesto graduated from the Autonomous University of Baja California (Mexico), with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He has become a key player in WaterOnScene’s development team, adding Web and Windows Applications Development to his set of skills. Recently, he earned a MCITP Certification as a Database Developer for SQL Server 2008 and is currently working on the MCSA for SQL Server 2019.
James Stewart | Head Development Engineer
James grew up in the San Diego area, and obtained his degree in computer science from the University of California, San Diego. He is WaterOnScene’s most senior programmer and developer, with over 15 years of experience working in healthcare technology. He is the guiding force behind our continued product development, and manages the integration of our various products into one cohesive package.
John Pringle | Chief Executive Officer
John started his EMS career as an EMT in 1986 and has served as a Fire Fighter/Paramedic with San Diego Fire-Rescue Department since 1997. Eleven years of his SDFD career were spent as their Electronic Documentation Coordinator, responsible for overseeing ePCR programming for a system with upwards of 100,000 calls annually. John’s focus has always been on simplifying technology used in the field, and he is excited to continue to make technologies that help our users take better care of patients.
Kelin Buckley | Chief Operations Officer
Kelin grew up in Northern California, and obtained her BA in political science from UC Riverside. She recently received a certificate in Accounting from UC San Diego Extension. She has worked in technology her entire career, having spent more than 14 years working in various operational roles in the healthcare technology space. She has overseen the operational aspects of WaterOnScene since its inception, and continues to oversee multiple aspects of day-to-day operations, including finance and client account management.
Natalie Pringle | Account Manager
Natalie is a San Diego native, holds a BA in Psychology from San Francisco State University. With over 15 years of experience leading and managing preschool programs, she has developed a strong foundation in communication, organization, and relationship building. Growing up with a father who served as a firefighter, Natalie gained a deep respect for the dedication and challenges faced by first responders. As an Account Manager at WaterOnScene, she brings her leadership background and personal connection to the EMS community to ensure clients receive attentive, reliable, and compassionate service tailored to their unique needs.
Neil Pena | Network Engineer
Neil attained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from SDSU. He now works as the Network Engineer at WaterOnScene, managing the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of technologies provided to WaterOnScene’s customers as well as maintaining the company’s internal network infrastructure. Always thinking about “the future”, Neil is always excited to find ways to make the latest and greatest technology work for WaterOnScene and recently accelerated the company’s transition to Windows Server 2019 and SQL 2019.
Winston Yu | Chief Financial Officer
Winston graduated from UCSD, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Soon after, he founded Infotech Systems Management, which became a successful computer consulting company in San Diego, California. With the help of his team, he designed and developed the first data warehousing decision support system optimized for healthcare organizations. Serving on the board of Medtech Solutions, Inc. and Ascender Software, LLC, he brings over 35 years of experience in the field of healthcare technology to WaterOnScene.
