February 7, 2018: Healthcare Informatics published an article on January 5th, 2018, titled “At UC San Diego Health, a Strategic Focus on Getting Providers the Right Information, at the Right Time”. The article discusses the San Diego healthcare market as “advanced” and specifically details the success of the San Diego Health Connect project to adopt the SAFR (Search Alert File Reconcile) model in our local Health Information Exchange. WATER is proud to have participated in the development of this project, and is also pleased to be the only ePCR vendor that offers this level of patient matching functionality to EMS providers in the area.

January 1, 2018: W.A.T.E.R. is excited to announce that Medic Ambulance is now live with Street EMS and Street Sense. They are the first Northern California agency to deploy with us.

June 6, 2017: W.A.T.E.R. is happy to welcome the Heartland Fire Agencies (El Cajon, La Mesa and Lemon Grove) to the Street EMS family!

December 1st, 2016: W.A.T.E.R. is excited to announce a new, fully integrated NFIRS reporting module coming in early 2017.

July 15th, 2016: The City of San Diego is now live with our cloud-to-cloud ePCR to Physio LikePak monitor integration. This will allow for automated merging of onScene and Street EMS ePCRs to LifePak EKG records.

July 1st, 2016: In March 2016, the California EMS Authority awarded San Diego Health Connect the EMS sub-recipient grant, for the purpose of implementing the SEARCH, ALERT, FILE, RECONCILE (SAFR) model in California for the first time. W.A.T.E.R. is pleased to announce that we will be participating as a subcontractor in this important project. We hope to have a positive impact in facilitating exchange of health data in California.

May 31st, 2016: The City of Orange is now live with Street EMS. We are excited to welcome them as a live W.A.T.E.R. client!

March 15th, 2016: North County Fire is now live with Street EMS. We are excited to welcome them to the W.A.T.E.R. family! We now have 20 agencies in San Diego County using our ePCR program.

March 2nd, 2016: W.A.T.E.R. will be exhibiting at the HIE in EMS in CA Summit in Garden Grove, CA, April 19th-20th, 2016. Be sure to come by our booth and say hi if you will be attending!

February 29th, 2016: We just returned from the EMS Today conference in Baltimore. This was our first time exhibiting at a national conference, and we had a wonderful time learning about the varying technology needs of agencies all over the country. Thank you JEMS for a great conference!

February 8th, 2016: Viejas Fire Department is now live with Street EMS. We are excited to welcome them to the W.A.T.E.R. family!

January 12th, 2016: W.A.T.E.R. will be attending the 2016 National Association of EMS Physicians Annual Meeting here in San Diego January 14-15. We hope to see you there!

January 1st, 2016: Two technologies in our Street Suite, Street Analytics and Street Sense, are now NEMSIS v3 certified compliant for receiving and processing data. The third technology in our Street Suite, Street EMS, was certified NEMSIS v.3 compliant for data collection in fall of 2015. All of our core technologies are now certified as NEMSIS 3 compliant.

December 22nd, 2015: Poway Fire Department is now live with Street EMS, our NEMSIS 3-compliant ePCR technology. We are excited to welcome them to the W.A.T.E.R. family!

December 1st, 2015: WATER will be attending the EMS Today conference in Baltimore, Maryland from February 25-27, 2016. We hope to see you there!

November 20th, 2015: The winner of our Colorado State EMS Conference iPad raffle is Nicolena Johnson from Clear Creek EMS. Congratulations!

November 15th, 2015: WATER has brought on board a new team member, Kirsten Lachenmayr. Kirsten will be taking on the role of Assistant Deployment/Technical Support. She will be an additional resource for technical support, technology deployments, and client training and continuing education. We are excited to have her on board.

November 2nd, 2015: WATER will be exhibiting at the Colorado State EMS Conference this week, from the 5th to the 8th in Keystone, Colorado. If you are attending, we hope to see you there!

September 15th, 2015: We are excited to announce that our ePCR technology, Street EMS, has achieved NEMSIS v.3 compliancy. As the state and the country look to move to NEMSIS 3 in the coming year, we are pleased that we will be able offer a compliant product to our current and prospective clients. September 14th, 2015: WATER is excited to announce that we have a new addition to our team: Kirsten Lachenmayr. She will join us as our new Application and Deployment Support Manager, to help us better serve our growing client base.

August 11th, 2015: WATER will also exhibit at the Texas EMS Conference from November 22-25, 2015. This conference draws thousands of attendees from all corners of the national EMS community. If you will be attending, be sure to stop by our booth and say hello!

August 3rd, 2015: The WATER Sales Team will be exhibiting at the Colorado State EMS Conference from November 22-25, 2015. We are excited to learn more about the needs of the Colorado EMS market.

August 3rd, 2015: The Carlsbad Fire Department is now live with onScene. We are excited to welcome them aboard!

July 21st, 2015: Offload Delay Reporting is now available in our Street Analytics technology. This new feature allows agencies to track hospital offload delay times. The report displays delay times for each hospital the agency transports to, and can be drilled down to specific units and crews.

July 1st, 2015: CSA-69, a San Diego County service area comprised of the Lakeside and Santee fire departments, is now live with onScene.

June 8th, 2015: We are excited to announce that the newest addition to the W.A.T.E.R. family, Sycuan Fire Department, is now live with onScene.

June 1st, 2015: W.A.T.E.R. employees just returned from our annual team-building trip. This year, the team went on an Alaskan cruise! It was a great opportunity to foster the teamwork on which W.A.T.E.R. has built its culture, celebrate the accomplishments of 2015 thus far, and to recharge before diving into the second half of the year.

May 22nd, 2015: W.A.T.E.R. has just returned from attending the 2015 California Fire EMS Disaster Conference & Expo in Indian Wells, CA. We appreciated the opportunity to meet so many members of the California EMS community, as well as the chance to see and reconnect with many of our current clients. We held a raffle for and iPad mini for conference attendees, and will announce the winner shortly. Stay tuned!

May 20th, 2015: W.A.T.E.R participated in the Foothills and Mile High RETAC ePCR Vendor Expo. We were excited to be able to showcase our products to agencies within both of the RETAC regions. Colorado, like many other states, is currently working towards transitioning to the NEMSISv3 dataset. As one of the few vendors that have completed or are nearing completion of a NEMSISv3 compliant product, we were invited to attend a “speed dating” ePCR event that allowed multiple Colorado agencies the chance to see Street EMS.

May 14th, 2015: We are pleased to announce that we now offer a cloud-to-cloud integration to Zoll’s x Series EKG monitors. We are currently the only ePCR vendor that offers this solution with case-push technology.

February 27th, 2015: This week we attended the EMS Today Conference in Baltimore, MD. A highlight was the preconference workshop, “Advacnced Community Paramedicine”, where Anne Marie Jensen, the RAP coordinator for the City of San Diego, presented on San Diego’s success using Street Sense to manage vulnerable patients. She also discussed the recent, successful development to connect Street EMS to San Diego 211 for patient referrals. February 20th, 2015: W.A.T.E.R. is a proud sponsor of our 211 community. Today we attended San Diego’s 211 luncheon. At the event, our Street EMS 211 Referral integration was announced. Referrals to 211 can now be made directly from our ePCR software, Street EMS.

February 6th, 2015: W.A.T.E.R. is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at the 2015 California Fire EMS Disaster Conference & Expo for the second year in a row. The conference takes place from May 18th-21st. This is the sole annual first responder conference in California. January 22nd, 2015: W.A.T.E.R. is excited to announce the development of a set of billability measures to be added to our Street Analytics Technology in Q2 of 2015. This measure set will score a set of measures designed to track the billability of a transport. Results will then be grouped by Agency, Unit and Crew to highlight what needs to be addressed and who it needs to be addressed with.

January 9th, 2015: W.A.T.E.R. is now in the process of developing and testing our NEMSIS 3 compliant ePCR technology, Street EMS. We plan to release Street EMS in the second quarter of the year, and aim to have all current clients moved over to Street EMS by the end of 2015. This new product will include a number of improvements over the existing onScene technology. Some of these improvements include:

• Expanded libraries

December 22nd, 2014: We have released Street Sense Version 2.4. Highlights include:
• “Questionable Life Status” Algorithm. This algorithm contains patients who have gone through the 911 system who may have passed away. If a patient shows up in this algorithm, it indicates that case managers should follow up to see if the patient has either passed away, or has had a serious, life-threatening event and thus may need additional resources.

• Narrative Review Report

December 18th, 2014: We have released onScene Version 2.10. Highlights of this version include:
• Ability to send referrals to 211.
• Real-time, cloud-to-cloud Zoll EKG Monitor Integration
• Numerous enhancement to the Mobile and Server applications based on requests from our onScene User Group

August 20th, 2014: We have released onScene Version 2.9. This version includes:
• W.A.T.E.R. Billing Export Module, which allows agency administrators to set agency-specific billing parameters for incidents to be sent to any billing company in a NEMSIS 2 format.

July 23rd, 2014: As of July 23rd, 2014, Street Sense is now integrated with Community Information Exchange San Diego (CIE San Diego). This non-profit community organization strives to increase information sharing between social services and care providers in San Diego. CIE San Diego has worked to put the infrastructure in place to enable various individuals and entities in the health and social services arena to share sensitive data via safe and effective means. Street Sense naturally fit with aims of this organization, and vice versa. Now, with patient consent, demographic and 911 encounter data will be sent from Street Sense to CIE San Diego. The intention is to use the data to further help San Diego’s most vulnerable populations. For more information on CIE San Diego, click here.

June 2nd, 2014: We have now adopted Street Sense into the repertoire of W.A.T.E.R. Technologies.

March 5th, 2014: We have released onScene Version 2.8. This version includes:
• QA Module. This module provides a robust Quality Assurance selection and tracking system for all our client agencies.
• Regional Transfer Hub, which allows agencies who use onScene to transfer incidents from the mobile application to any other agency using onScene within a set radius.
• Ability to add attachments to PCRs.
• Ability to fax or email EKG attachments to hospitals.
• Automated San Diego County first responder reimbursement report.

December 31st, 2013: We have released multiple versions of onScene in 2013. Software enhancements released in 2013 include:
• Integration to Physio-Control LP15 Monitor
• Implemented Rules Engine
• Completed onScene server data reporting
• Fax to hospital functionality
• Manual times page to make onScene fully functional even without a CAD connection
